Tainted (Channeling Morpheus, #4) - Jordan Castillo Price I got my wish in having this book told from Bill's point of view. It wasn't a very impressive installment in the series (thus the 3.5 rating) but in the overall storyline, it added depth to the characters and made me like them more.

It was interesting to read about the different views they each had. Michael was embarrassed with public display of their relationship, while Bill thought drinking his blood was an act meant for privacy. Michael was unsure of himself and always wondering if Bill might walk out on him, while Bill was slowly realising that he catered to his "boytoy"'s every whim. I really liked the part where Bill admitted he would indulge him anything and sort of feared the power Michael had over him. Bill might shy away from romantic statements but his actions speak loud and clear.

I thought the only way they could be together forever would be for Michael to become vampire as well. The solution the author picked was just as interesting. Bill's guilt when finding out about Michael's condition was heart warming. He couldn't fathom the notion that Michael might have wanted to become a vampire; he only believed he had ruined his life. However, his love confession, sweet as it was, might not be enough to mend the rift separating them.

Looking forward to find out what happens next.
