As far as plot and character development, this book is kind of lacking. Their fortunate encounter, followed by a sweet, though rapid romance that wasted no time in becoming physical, no angst, perils for either of them (werewolf, being gay).. it was all too nicely strung one after the other. I won't even go in detail about the fact that Ethan in the end never did find out Crewe's biggest secret. The book just ended with a cliffhanger.. about two side characters. O_O
But those are just the downfalls. For some unknown reason, even with plenty of flaws to the story, it was a cute read. Light and easy to go through. The characters are likable, decent sex scenes and the HEA is always a nice touch (for me anyway). Perhaps the sequels will link to all characters and make sure all loose end are covered.
